Energy Systems Group’s VPP Star Award Ceremony

Congratulations to Energy Systems Group at Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, New Jersey!  On January 24, 2025, New York City Region’s Regional Administrator Richard Mendelson and Parsippany Area Office’s Area Director Joseph Czapik presented the VPP Star plaque and flag to Energy Systems Group.  Energy Systems Group is a resident contractor at the US Army’s Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, New Jersey.  Energy Systems Group is responsible for operating, repairing, and maintaining boilers and heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems throughout Picatinny Arsenal.  Picatinny Arsenal covers approximately 6,500 acres in a 10-mile-long valley.  Energy Systems Group maintains approximately 3,000 pieces of equipment and 1.6 miles of steam lines, including 120 boilers and 29 “boiler-in-a-box” (BIB) units throughout Picatinny Arsenal.
