NIOSH to Launch National Employer Survey of Respirator Use and Practices

"NIOSH National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health will soon launch a national survey of employers to assess current respirator use and practices in their workplaces. The Survey of Respirator Use and Practices (SRUP) is the first effort to collect updated data about respiratory protection across all U.S. industries since the initial survey in 2001. The current survey comes at an important time, as newly added questions since the 2001 survey will help to reveal how the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the landscape of respirator use throughout many industries.
