New York City Region VPP Sites:
As announced in May, OSHA is realigning our regional offices to enhance the agency’s resiliency and ensure that our resources are directed effectively. As part of this realignment, we created a new Regional Office in Birmingham, Alabama to oversee OSHA operations in Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee, and part of the Florida Panhandle. The Atlanta region covers Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, and all of Florida (except a portion the Panhandle). The Dallas Region covers Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. We are also realigning Regions 9 and 10 into the new San Francisco Region. As part of this change, we will now identify regional offices by the city where they are located. OSHA’s New York City Region (formerly Region 2) still covers New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
You will begin to see changes to the OSHA website reflecting this regional realignment, beginning today. Link: https://www.osha.gov/contactus/bystate
