On May 17, 2023, VPP Star participant Torcon hosted 27 new OSHA compliance officers to tour one of their construction projects. The tour was part of a local two-week course to train OSHA compliance officers in construction safety standards. Torcon safety personnel and project superintendents assisted instructors from OSHA’s Training Institute in instructing the students during the tour. Torcon is a construction management firm and a VPP Mobile Workforce participant in OSHA Region II. Thank you to Torcon for providing new OSHA compliance officers with a real-world training opportunity!
