An Update from the National Campaign to Prevent Falls in Construction
2022 marks the 11th year of the NIOSH-CPWR-OSHA Fall Prevention Campaign, which has reached millions of construction contractors and workers nationwide through its annual Safety Stand-Down event. Even with this success, fatal falls remain the leading cause of death for construction workers. The good news is that fall fatalities are completely preventable with a good fall prevention and rescue plan and the right access equipment, training, and fall protection. During this webinar, which will include Q&A, the three primary Campaign partners will review findings from the 2021 Stand-Down evaluation and a recent survey that identifies underlying causes of falls; it will also provide updates on the latest FREE resources and plans for the 2022 Stand-Down.
