NY / NJ Move Over Laws



Region 2 VPP Sites:

"FYI - Monday evening, on the Long Island Expressway, a tractor trailer struck a Dix Hills, New York fire truck and Suffolk County Police Highway Patrol car operating at the scene of a previous motor vehicle accident. The truck driver was issued a summons for failure to move over for stopped emergency vehicles. Please see the link below for an article describing the incident:
