"During the 24-25 JUN 2019 Region 2 VPPPA Safety Forum in Atlantic City, we are going to try a different type of workshop that we piloted back in 2017 with great results. During a VPP evaluation opening conference, sites typically present information about their site and their safety and health management system to the VPP Team. Many sites prepare PowerPoint presentations and some involve multiple personnel from their site’s safety team. This workshop will give you an opportunity to share the same information about your VPP site with your fellow VPP participants at the R2 VPPPA Safety Forum! Just use the PowerPoint you’ve already prepared for your last VPP evaluation and showcase your site. Or if you have a VPP evaluation coming up later in 2019, this is an excellent opportunity to prepare your presentation (and practice your presentation in front of a friendly audience!) Each presentation will be 15-20 minutes. And you can involve as many as your safety team members as you’d like. I will be moderating the workshop.
