Every year, on April 28, the nation recognizes Workers Memorial Day. This is the day we pay our respects to those who lost their lives on the job, and recognize the impact these tragic losses have on families, co-workers, and communities. The link below has information about events that will be held across the country this week – some events are virtual.
This year Workers Memorial Day also marks the 50th anniversary of the Occupational Safety and Health Act being enacted on April 28, 1971.
