🔥 Wildfire Safety in the U.S. 🔥

As of August 19, 2021, more than 40,000 large wildfires have burned approximately 4.1 million acres of land. With the occurrence of these fires steadily increasing, it’s important to be prepared and design a plan before disaster strikes.

When faced with a wildfire, remember to:

- Evacuate immediately when authorities tell you to do so.

- If trapped, call 911 and relay your location.

- For real-time emergency information and instructions, listen to EAS, NOAA Weather, or local alerting systems.

- Use an N95 mask to keep particles out of the air you breathe.
