For the last 77 years, in efforts to bring attention to the risks of working in agriculture, the third week of September has been recognized as #NationalFarmSafetyAndHealthWeek. As we head into the fall harvest season, one of the busiest and most dangerous seasons of the year for those in the industry, advocating this year’s theme is vital as its message implies safety practices not only protect lives but also yield profitable results for the farm.
