"As many of you know, starting in July, many employers will be sending OSHA data from their injury logs and OSHA will post that data on the web. OSHA’s objective is to encourage large numbers of employers, including many who OSHA will not inspect, to abate hazards and therefore prevent injuries.
The OSHA digital team has produced a “Whiteboard” video that explains the new injury data reporting requirements. Here is the link:
It will help OSHA if employers and workers know that the new rule is in effect and that OSHA will be collecting injury data in the near future. Please consider sharing this video with your coworkers, temporary employees, contractors, industry colleagues and associations.
