"Please see the OSHA News Release below reminding employers that it is illegal to retaliate against workers because they report unsafe and unhealthful working conditions during the coronavirus pandemic. All of our VPP participants sign an assurance with their VPP application that they will protect employees engaged in safety and health activities from discriminatory actions, just as Section 11(c) of the OSH Act protects employees who exercise their rights. Please share this OSHA News Release with your contractors and industry colleagues / trade associations who may not be aware of their legal obligations concerning acts of retaliation.
