Respiratory Protection- Good Health is Priceless



"According to OSHA, an estimated 5 million workers wear a respirator in 1.3 million workplaces throughout the United States. Respirators are truly our last line of defense. They protect workers from oxygen deficient environments, harmful dusts, fogs, smokes, mists, gases vapors and sprays. I am the VP of Access Health Systems, and have over twenty five years of experience delivering occupational health services to general industry and construction. The degree of compliance in accordance with the respirator standard varies significantly across organizations and industries. Most companies know that their employees need to be FIT tested; many however, miss key components to the program. Key components include a written respiratory program, detailed risk assessment, the development and implementation of controls, training, medical surveillance and FIT testing to name a few."
